Hi all, I realize I’ve been MIA lately. I finally fully moved, now just comes the organization. You know how it is: the unpacking of boxes and what seems like endless amount of stuff that comes out of these boxes. I am also without a kitchen currently as it was demolished and getting ready for a remodel. Super excited about that!
I’ve got most of my larger items in place and now it just boils down to the decorations, which leads me to today’s post on hanging decorations and where to place them. Our guest host today is by Amy Spagnola of LuxeDecor. If you haven’t yet checked out their site, do it! And if you’re into modern/contemporary then I highly recommend checking out their selection! These ideas are just what I needed to give my home a unique and cutsey place.
Nothing adds more whimsical flair to a living space than a few hanging decorations. From glass planters to paper lanterns, there are a variety of options for adding dynamic color and character to the ceiling. If you’re searching for the perfect suspended sky-high décor, her are a few inspired ideas:
Pretty and unexpected, hanging glass bubbles can take a dining room from sterile and simple to modern and magical. Whether filled with succulents, plants or flowers, hanging cylinders are perfect for showcasing a love of nature. Display these transparent containers near windows with a little rope or string for maximum impact.
Mobile paper lanterns add tons of charm to a nursery space. Fun and festive, colorful green and blue sky décor is ideal for giving a kids bedroom some extra panache. A cluster of paper lanterns is especially enchanting as it adds a focal point to an otherwise ordinary room.
A neutral bedroom gets a celebratory spin from a hanging pom-pom garland. Forgoing lots of pictures and posters, this chic hanging display is full of feminine flair. A tassel garland, fabric dream catcher and knit bedding make this space feel ultra-cozy and comfy.
Make any bedroom space feel like a romantic retreat with a hanging curtain and some string lighting. Perfect for the fall or winter seasons, this duo of canopy curtains adds fairy-tale vibes to a bedroom lair. Now, there’s no need for that night light.
There you have it! If you have any more tips or ideas you’d like to share relating to hanging decorations feel free to message me or comment to this post!
